What is it? Document issued solely to provide the holder with a travel document that may serve as a National Passport, but does not prejudge or modify in any way the holder's nationality, if any. Issuance is decentralised by Authorised Immigration Units.

What is the amount? Fee model 790, code 012. See fees on the electronic headquarters of the Cuerpo Nacional de Policía. Banks, savings banks and credit cooperatives, where no account is required, by presenting the payment document.
How is it managed? Personal appearance of the beneficiary before authorised issuing units, with the identity document issued to the holder and the granting resolution of the corresponding status or right (refugee, subsidiary protection or stateless), plus passport-size colour photographs with light background and uncovered face.
Where is documentation submitted? At authorised issuing units: International Protection Section (asylum, subsidiary protection and stateless persons). In Barcelona, at the headquarters of the Government Sub-delegation.

¿Qué es? Documento que se expide con el único objetivo de proveer al titular de un documento de viaje que pueda hacer las veces de Pasaporte Nacional, pero no prejuzga ni modifica en modo alguno la nacionalidad del titular, si la tuviera. Su expedición es descentralizada por las Unidades de Extranjería Autorizadas.
Clases y tipologías
• Documento de Viaje de Refugiado (Convención de Ginebra para los refugiados y Ley reguladora del derecho de asilo y la protección subsidiaria).
• Documento de Viaje de Protección Subsidiaria (Ley reguladora del derecho de asilo y la protección subsidiaria).
• Documento de Viaje de Apátrida (Convención sobre el estatuto de los apátridas y Reglamento del estatuto de apátrida).
¿Quiénes son los interesados? El titular del derecho / estatuto.
Periodo de validez 5 años.
¿Cuál es el importe o la cuantía? Modelo de tasa 790, código 012. Ver tasas en la sede electrónica del Cuerpo Nacional de Policía. Bancos, Cajas de Ahorro y Cooperativas de Crédito, en las que no es preciso tener cuenta abierta, mediante la presentación del documento de ingreso.
¿Como se gestiona? Comparecencia personal del beneficiario ante las unidades expedidoras autorizadas, provisto del documento de identidad que se hubiera expedido al titular y de la resolución de concesión del estatuto o del derecho correspondiente (refugiado, protección subsidiaria o apátrida), así como fotografías en color de tamaño carné y con fondo claro y el rostro descubierto.
¿Dónde se presenta la documentación? En las unidades expedidoras autorizadas: Sección de Protección Internacional (asilo, protección subsidiaria y apátridas). En Barcelona, en la sede de la Subdelegación del Gobierno.
