THE ISSUANCE OF THE FOREIGNER IDENTITY CARD (T.I.E.) CAN ONLY BE CARRIED OUT IN THE PROVINCE OF RESIDENCE. Before requesting the appointment for the issuance of the TIE, check whether the file is in the status "Resolved favourably", and that the granting of your residence or stay carries with it the issuance of a TIE.

In the case of cards associated with Law 14/2013 on Support for Entrepreneurs, consult the Electronic Headquarters of the Large Companies Unit. It is recalled that the authorisation granted by resolution of the Immigration Office or the Directorate-General for Migration Management — once registration with Social Security has occurred or the visa has been granted, where applicable — has full effect before the administration and third parties, and its effectiveness is not conditional on obtaining the Foreigner Identity Card, without prejudice to the fact that, in accordance with article 4.2 of Organic Law 4/2000 of 11 January, it must be requested within one month of being granted.

In the case of stays of Family Members of Students (SLF visa), you must go, in advance of the TIE issuance appointment, to the relevant immigration office so that the stay authorisation is recorded. A TIE will not be issued when the validity of the associated immigration authorisation is less than or equal to 6 months, nor where the validity of the card to be issued is less than 30 days.

The appointment is personal, so a single appointment will not be accepted for different members of the family unit. DOCUMENTATION / ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR ISSUING THE FOREIGNER IDENTITY CARD: Proof of the booked appointment.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does your service work?

We search and book your appointment with the details from the form. After you submit, we text you a tracking link so you can check status, make changes or cancel. When a slot opens, we book it in your name and notify you. We are a private service: we do not sell appointments and we are not the government.

How long does it take to get an appointment?

It depends on the procedure and province. We search 24/7; often a slot appears within days, but busy offices or constraints (a specific office…) can take longer.

How much does it cost?

The fee is €14.99 (VAT included) for any available office — the fastest option. Choosing a specific office adds €5.00 (total €19.99). You only pay if we secure your appointment. Official government fees are not included.

Do I have to pay before I have the appointment?

No. First we book the appointment; then you pay.

Can I cancel or change my request?

Yes. After you submit, you get a tracking link by SMS: from there you can check status, edit your details or cancel. To change procedure, province or office: cancel and start a new request.

I already have a pending appointment. Can I still use the service?

If you already have an active appointment for the same procedure, the office usually blocks another. Cancel yours first, then start the search with us.

Can I keep searching on my own?

Yes. If you get an appointment first, cancel your request from the tracking link so we do not book another one with your details.

What documents do I need?

It depends on the procedure and province. The procedure page includes the official information. We are not a law firm or administrative agency.
