Procedure information

This appointment is exclusively for the issuance of the following cards: a) Law 14/2013 on support for entrepreneurs: investors, entrepreneurs, highly qualified professionals, researchers, workers who carry out intra-company movements within the same company or group of companies, and family members of the above cases. b) Second additional provision, section 1, of Royal Decree 1155/2024.

Beneficiaries of the procedures included in the above sections may also book their appointment by selecting the option: "POLICE - FINGERPRINTING (CARD ISSUANCE) INITIAL, RENEWAL, DUPLICATE AND LAW 14/2013". THE ISSUANCE OF THE T.I.E.

CAN ONLY BE CARRIED OUT IN THE PROVINCE OF RESIDENCE. The card will not be issued when the permit it is associated with is less than or equal to 6 months, nor where its validity is less than 30 days.

The appointment is personal, so a single appointment will not be accepted for different members of the family unit. It is recalled that the authorisation granted by resolution of the Immigration Office — once registration with Social Security has occurred or the visa has been granted, where applicable — has full effect before the administration and third parties, and its effectiveness is not conditional on obtaining the Foreigner Identity Card, without prejudice to the fact that, in accordance with article 4.2 of Organic Law 4/2000 of 11 January, it must be requested within one month of being granted.

DOCUMENTATION / ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR ISSUING THE FOREIGNER IDENTITY CARD: Proof of the prior appointment. Administrative resolution of the residence authorisation.

(Original.) Application form MI-TIE, specific to Law 14/2013 on Support for Entrepreneurs, duly completed and signed by the interested party or their legal representative, available at the following link (pdf). Valid identity document.

The form is downloaded from the Police website, at the following link. THE FEE FORM CANNOT BE PHOTOCOPIED, as each form is identified by a unique identifier.

If Model 790, code 012 has been paid improperly, the refund of that fee must be processed in person at the Documentation Unit where the Foreigner Identity Card was issued, or failing that, where you obtained the appointment for that purpose.

Under no circumstances should the refund be requested through a registry. A recent colour photograph of the applicant's face, size 32x26 millimetres, with a plain white uniform background, taken from the front with the head fully uncovered and without dark-lens glasses or any other garment that may prevent or hinder identification of the person.

(The photograph must clearly show the oval of the face, including eyebrows, eyes, nose, mouth and chin, and must be high resolution on good-quality photographic paper.) Current registration certificate or proof (issued within the last three months), in case you have changed address.

For holders of residence authorisations as investors or intra-company mobility under Law 14/2013, and their respective family members, this is not an essential requirement. Original and copy.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does your service work?

We search and book your appointment with the details from the form. After you submit, we text you a tracking link so you can check status, make changes or cancel. When a slot opens, we book it in your name and notify you. We are a private service: we do not sell appointments and we are not the government.

How long does it take to get an appointment?

It depends on the procedure and province. We search 24/7; often a slot appears within days, but busy offices or constraints (a specific office…) can take longer.

How much does it cost?

The fee is €14.99 (VAT included) for any available office — the fastest option. Choosing a specific office adds €5.00 (total €19.99). You only pay if we secure your appointment. Official government fees are not included.

Do I have to pay before I have the appointment?

No. First we book the appointment; then you pay.

Can I cancel or change my request?

Yes. After you submit, you get a tracking link by SMS: from there you can check status, edit your details or cancel. To change procedure, province or office: cancel and start a new request.

I already have a pending appointment. Can I still use the service?

If you already have an active appointment for the same procedure, the office usually blocks another. Cancel yours first, then start the search with us.

Can I keep searching on my own?

Yes. If you get an appointment first, cancel your request from the tracking link so we do not book another one with your details.

What documents do I need?

It depends on the procedure and province. The procedure page includes the official information. We are not a law firm or administrative agency.
