SOC appointment: how to get a slot at your Catalan job office
Catalonia's public employment service (SOC) sees people by appointment at its 69 job offices: job-seeker registration, guidance, certificates, lump-sum payment and more. Slots free up through cancellations during the day.
How booking works
You pick the procedure and office, and SOC's site emails a code to confirm the booking. With that code and your details (name, surnames, DNI, NIE or passport, phone and email) the appointment is booked and you get a booking reference.
Our service checks SOC's calendars non-stop and books as soon as a slot frees up; we receive the email code in an inbox of ours and message you on WhatsApp. You only pay if we get the appointment.
What to bring on the day
- A valid DNI, NIE or passport and the booking reference.
- Depending on the procedure, your job-seeker card (DARDO) or whatever SOC asked you for.

Can I hold two SOC appointments?
SOC allows one active appointment per document. If you already have one, cancel it before booking another.
How do I cancel a SOC appointment?
On the appointment site, “Comprobar, modificar o cancelar la reserva”, with your document, the booking reference and the office. If we booked it, you can also ask from your status page.
