    "text": "IMPORTANT: Before booking an appointment to collect your card, you must MAKE SURE that it is already at the Documentation Unit where it was issued. To do this, check that the batch number associated with your card (data that appears on the collection receipt) is equal to or lower than the batch number indicated by the selected office. The appointment is personal, so a single appointment will not be accepted for different members of the family unit. Collection of the TIE will be carried out exclusively by its holder. In the case of minors under 6 years of age, fingerprint verification is not necessary to collect the TIE, so the person holding legal representation or empowerment may attend, without the minor. For minors aged 6 and over and persons with judicially complemented capacity, their fingerprint must be verified at the time of delivery. Therefore, they must be present at the office at the time of collecting the TIE, together with the person holding their legal representation or empowerment. The documents that must be presented to prove the relationship with the minor are: Original valid identity documents, in all cases. Minor born in Spain: Family Book or birth certificate from the Civil Registry, or court ruling of guardianship. Minor born abroad: Birth certificate or guardianship documents of the minor, translated (as needed) and legalised, either with the Hague Apostille or via diplomatic channels. To prove empowerment: Notarial power of attorney issued in Spain. Notarial power of attorney made outside Spain, translated (as needed) and legalised, either with the Hague Apostille or via diplomatic channels. Minor student with an SME visa: Must be accompanied solely by the person who appears in the Government Delegation report, duly accredited and with original valid identity documentation. Minors under guardianship: Must be accompanied by a person responsible for the guardianship centre who will show their original valid identity document and the official guardianship documents. To collect the TIE, the issuance receipt and the document proving the identity of the foreign cardholder, original and valid, will be necessary. The documents that may be presented to prove identity are: Passport of your country. Registration certificate for undocumented foreigners issued by the Spanish authorities. Travel document, validly issued and recognised by Spain. At the time of collecting the newly issued TIE, the citizen must hand over their previous card (whether expired or still valid), or failing that, present the original police report of loss or theft. Likewise, you are informed that the card will not be delivered if, at the time of collection, it has already expired.",
