    "text": "IMPORTANT: Following the publication of Order INT/96/2026 of 12 February (https://www.boe.es/eli/es/o/2026/02/12/int96), which extends the validity of the foreigner identity cards issued to persons affected by the conflict in Ukraine who are beneficiaries of temporary protection, the validity of the T.I.E.s is automatically extended until 04/03/2027, so it will not be necessary to obtain a new Foreigner Identity Card. THE ISSUANCE OF THE FOREIGNER IDENTITY CARD (T.I.E.) CAN ONLY BE CARRIED OUT IN THE PROVINCE OF RESIDENCE. ISSUANCE OF THE FOREIGNER IDENTITY CARD (T.I.E.) It is recalled that the authorisation granted by resolution of the OAR (Asylum and Refuge Office) has full effect before the Administration and third parties, and its effectiveness is not conditional on obtaining the Foreigner Identity Card. The appointment is personal, so a single appointment will not be accepted for different members of the family unit. DOCUMENTATION / ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR ISSUING THE FOREIGNER IDENTITY CARD: Application form Model EX-17 (pdf), duly completed and signed by the interested party or their legal representative. Identity document — the one you presented at the time of requesting temporary protection. Temporary protection application receipt. (For adults, it will not be necessary in the case of an extended TIE.) You must provide a recent colour photograph of the applicant's face, size 32x26 millimetres, with a plain white uniform background, taken from the front with the head fully uncovered and without dark-lens glasses or any other garment that may prevent or hinder identification of the person. (The photograph must clearly show the oval of the face, including eyebrows, eyes, nose, mouth and chin, and must be high resolution on good-quality photographic paper.) Minors must be accompanied by the adult to whom their application was linked when requesting temporary protection. Proof of payment of the Model 790 Code 012 fee of the Ministry of the Interior. The copy must be correctly printed in its entirety; printouts in which the lower part of the document — bearing the note \"Copy for the Administration\" — does not appear will not be accepted. The form is downloaded from the Police website. THE FEE FORM CANNOT BE PHOTOCOPIED, as each form is identified by a unique identifier. If Model 790, code 012 has been paid improperly, the refund of that fee must be processed in person at the Documentation Unit where the Foreigner Identity Card was issued, or failing that, where you obtained the appointment for that purpose. Under no circumstances should the refund be requested through a registry.",
