The civil status of the members of the de facto partnership must also be proven.\n• If the applicant is a descendant of the Union citizen:\n• Birth certificate.\n• If the applicant is a descendant of the Union citizen's spouse or partner:\n• Birth certificate.\n• If the descendant is over 21, documentation proving dependency or incapacity.\n• Marriage certificate or partnership register certificate of the Union citizen.\n• If the descendant is a minor, documentation proving that the Union citizen's spouse or partner exercises parental authority alone, or has been granted custody and they are effectively in their care.\n• If the applicant is an ascendant of the Union citizen or their spouse:\n• Birth certificate of the Union citizen or their spouse or partner.\n• Documentation proving dependency.\n• If ascendant of the Union citizen's spouse or partner, marriage certificate or partnership register certificate of the Union citizen.\n• Copy of the Union citizen's registration certificate whom they accompany or will join, or Spanish citizen's D.N.I.\n• Three recent color photographs, white background, passport size.",
