On the day of the appointment, you must present your DNI, passport, NIE or valid residence permit and the appointment justification. If you are unable to attend, cancel the appointment so that another person can use it.\nWHO CAN REQUEST AN APPOINTMENT\n• Only citizens (individuals) or their representatives. Companies and other legal entities must carry out their procedures electronically.\n• If a representative attends, they must be designated in the DGT's Registro de Apoderamientos or bring the \"Otorgamiento de representación\" model signed by the interested party, in addition to all accrediting documentation. The appointment request indicates the DNI of the interested party and the representative.\n• People 65 years or older and people with mobility problems (after passing through a Centro de Reconocimiento de Conductores) can attend without an appointment during the preferred attention schedule of each Jefatura, except for the exchange of permits from countries with an agreement, which always requires an appointment.\nHOW THE APPOINTMENT WORKS\n• The appointment is granted for a specific office and processing area. Procedures are only attended to in the area indicated for each office: if there are no appointments available in your area, you cannot request one in another.\n• The DGT tries to facilitate the appointment within fifteen days of the request, depending on the availability of the chosen office.\n• At the end of the reservation, a PDF justification is obtained, which the DGT also sends to the indicated email. We deliver this official justification to you.\n• You can consult or cancel the appointment at any time in the appointment application (office, date, and DNI), in the miDGT app or by calling 060 (agent from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00; from abroad +34 902 887 060).\nTASAS\n• The appointment is free of charge. The fees for the procedure you are going to carry out (if any) are paid to the DGT separately, usually online before the appointment, and you must bring the payment receipt.\nTRÁMITES SIN CITA\n• No appointment is needed: submission of documents, allegations and appeals; complaints and suggestions; refund of fee payments; in-person completion of an international permit or an exchange with a country with an agreement initiated in the Sede Electrónica; incidents of returned permits. Check the schedule of each office before traveling (it changes in winter and summer).\n• Almost all procedures can be done online, in the miDGT app or by phone (060) without an appointment or travel. Check the catalog of services before requesting an appointment.\nCONDUCTORES: QUÉ LLEVAR A LA CITA\n• Valid driving license (or the expired, damaged one or the duplicate report for loss or theft) and valid identity document.\n• Renewal or duplicate of the license: the psychophysical aptitude report when applicable (issued by the Centro de Reconocimiento de Conductores, which usually processes the renewal without an appointment at the DGT) and the paid fee.\n• Change of data (name, sex, NIE to DNI): document that accredits the change.\n• International permit, driver certificates, point reports: paid fee and identity document.
